Composure is a competitive advantage.

Mistakes are part of the game.

“After six weeks of using the app, my wife commented on how much more mature my son was behaving and how differently he spoke about his games and himself…”

Pressure doesn't create problems.
It exposes them.

One mistake turns into hesitation.

Hesitation turns into overthinking.

Overthinking changes the way an athlete plays.

Most young athletes are never trained to recover quickly.

They’re told to “shake it off.”

That’s not training.

Why I Built Gritty

Honestly, I wasn't much of an athlete growing up.

I watched my son struggle with confidence in AAA hockey — and I recognized that feeling immediately.

I struggled with the same thing. Self-doubt and a negative voice in my head made everything harder than it needed to be. Training my mind gave me tools to take control of how I show up.

I built Gritty to address a gap in youth athletic development.

We spend the majority of time and budget on the physical side of the game. Almost nothing on the mental side — the part that shows up under pressure.

Mindset is a skill.

When athletes train it consistently, confidence grows, focus sharpens, and setbacks don't knock them off track the way they used to. It's the work most coaches haven't had a tool for. Until now.
